I just got back from Suntree UMC youth camp. We spent a week at Eckerd College in St. Pete, FL. Amid lots of fun and games, I co-led a small group of eight young men, working out tough life issues with them. I also lead the high school age praise and worship team, teaching 15-18 year-old young men and women how to worship God and how to lead their peers to do the same.
Now it is time to go back to work where I lead a small company's software development team doing government data integration.
It occurs to me that what I do at camp is so much more meaningful than what I do at work. This thought may continue to haunt me. If not, it probably should.
